Guidelines for Uploading Your Wedding Photos

Get Started In 3 Easy Steps

1. Upload Your Photo: Choose a well-lit photo of the wedding couple and include it with your order so our digital artists can begin creating your personalized portrait. Please read our Image Guidelines for tips to make your house portrait picture perfect!

2. Personalize Your Artwork: Add a their names and date, to make your artwork uniquely yours. We'll print this below the custom artwork in our signature font, along with your address and chosen date. You can also leave this blank for a simple and clean look.

3. Proof and Shipping: Sit back and relax while our illustrators transform your photo into a masterpiece. We will send you an artwork proof in 3 days or less to review and approve before we print and ship.

The image you upload is crucial to the quality of your final couple portrait. Follow these guidelines to ensure your artwork is picture perfect:

  • Clear, High-Resolution Photo: Upload a clear, high-resolution photo (landscape or portrait).
  • Two-Person Photos Only: Ensure the photo features only the two people in the wedding photo.
  • Avoid Dark Lighting: Avoid photos taken at night or with dark lighting.
  • No Filters: Avoid using filters to ensure accurate coloring of your portrait.
  • Full Faces: Ensure faces are not cut off or cropped out of the image.
  • Complete View: Make sure everything you want shown in the artwork is visible in the image.
  • Optimal Angles: The best photos are taken from a side-on angle to the wedding couple with at least half of the body visible (waist-up).
  • Color Photos: Unless you have ordered a sketch portrait, we cannot accept black and white or scanned photos.

Note: Everything shown on the wedding photo in the uploaded image will be illustrated in your final wedding portrait. We can sometimes remove or change small items, but your photo should look the way you want it to be painted.
