Guidelines for Uploading Your Royal Photo
Get Started In 3 Easy Steps
1. Upload Your Photo: Choose a well-lit photo of your home and include it with your order so our digital artists can begin creating your personalized portrait. Please read our Image Guidelines for tips to make your house portrait picture perfect!
2. Select Your Chosen Style: Royal portraits can be based on a variety of royal poses. Simply find the one you like for your portrait, that is suitable for the uploaded photo.
3. Proof and Shipping: Sit back and relax while our illustrators transform your photo into a masterpiece. We will send you an artwork proof in 3 days or less to review and approve before we print and ship.
The image you upload is crucial to the quality of your custom royal portrait. Follow these guidelines to ensure your artwork is picture perfect:
- Daylight Photos: Upload your royal portrait photo(s) taken during daylight hours (landscape or portrait).
- Quality Camera: Use a smartphone or high-quality camera.
- Avoid Dark Lighting: Avoid photos taken at night or with large shadows.
- No Filters: Avoid using filters to ensure accurate coloring of your artwork.
- Combining Photos: If you need us to combine multiple photos, select the 'Combine Photos' add-on when placing your order, and we'll merge all your photos into one artwork.
- Color Photos: Unless you have ordered a sketch portrait, we cannot accept black and white or scanned photos.
Note: Everything shown in the image of the persons face you upload will be illustrated in your final royal portrait. We can sometimes remove people or small items (please mention this in the notes with your photo), but ensure your photo looks the way you want it to be painted.
