Guidelines for Uploading Your Memorial Photos

Get Started In 3 Easy Steps

1. Upload Your Photo: Choose a well-lit photo of your family and include it with your order so our digital artists can begin creating your personalized portrait. Please read our Image Guidelines for tips to make your house portrait picture perfect!

2. Add Family Members To Your Artwork: Add a photo of your family name or select "Combine Photos" option to add up to 10 family members and add your personal message to make your artwork uniquely yours. We'll print this below the custom artwork in our signature font, along with your address and chosen date.

3. Proof and Shipping: Sit back and relax while our illustrators transform your photo into a masterpiece. We will send you an artwork proof in 3 days or less to review and approve before we print and ship.

The image you upload is crucial to the quality of your custom memorial portrait. Follow these guidelines to ensure your artwork is picture perfect:

  • Daylight Photos: Upload a photo of your loved one taken during daylight hours (landscape or portrait).
  • Avoid Dark Lighting: Avoid photos taken at night or with large shadows.
  • No Filters: Avoid using filters to ensure accurate coloring of your artwork.
  • Combining Photos: If you need to include family members from multiple photos, select the 'Combine Photos' add-on when placing your order, and we'll merge all your photos into one artwork.
  • Add Angel Wings: To add angel wings to your loved one, select the 'Add Angel Wings' add-on when placing your order.
  • Color Photos: Unless you have ordered a sketch portrait, we cannot accept black and white or scanned photos.

Note: The background of the image you upload will not be illustrated in your final memorial portrait.
